Every reasonable effort has been made to ensure images displayed normally depict works which are in the public domain (for example, works created before 1923 are in the public domain almost everywhere in the world). In some cases, where material used is known not to be in the public domain, required licenses have been obtained and the artist or representative has explicitly granted permission.
This site is not for profit and no individual is permitted to gain financially in any way from it’s existence. All material is presented in good faith, in an effort to advance understanding of political, human, religious, and social issues. In proof of good faith, if any copyrighted material has been inadvertently included, without been specifically authorized by the copyright owner, it will be removed immediately (regardless of section 107 of US Copyright Law) on the specific request by whosoever may demonstrate clearly that they have legal copyright ownership.
